Rebecca Ferguson is a Swedish actress born in 1983 in Stockholm to a British mother and a Swedish father. She grew up bilingual, speaking both English and Swedish, and spent much of her childhood studying dance, learning styles from tango to funk and modern dance.

She began working as a model in the late 1990s and appeared in numerous commercials before landing a lead role in the Swedish TV series Nya Tider in 1999–2000. After a series of smaller television roles, Rebecca gained international attention in the mid-2010s with major Hollywood projects. Her film credits include Hercules with Dwayne Johnson, Mission Impossible series with Tom Cruise, Despite the Fallen Snow, Florence Foster Jenkins with Hugh Grant and Meryl Streep, The Greatest Snowman with Hugh Jackman, Life with Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds, The Girl on the Train, The Snowman, etc. In the early 2020s she also appeared in a spin-off of Men in Black.

Rebecca Ferguson is the mother of two children, a son and a daughter.
